A domain in Mauroux
(department in de Lot) for adults only (from 16 years old), who want to
enjoy real rest during their holidays. Just time for yourself and your
partner! Without children around you.
Experience the outdoors, enjoy the animals, rural rest and take a dip in
the pool in between. Or taste the fresh vegetables, herbs ad organic
meat from the estate’s own farm in the Auberge (restaurant).
Located just outside
the idyllic village of Mauroux, close to the River Lot, you will find
our beautiful estate.
The 16 hectare domain
covering a hilltop has a park-like garden with several fruit trees and a
large pasture where pigs, sheep cows, chickens and ducks graze around
freely. You can oversee the valley with forests, sunflowers, vineyards
and the rustic medieval village of Mauroux half a kilometer away. Here
you will find a small supermarket and the post office. The area offers
medieval castles, picturesque villages and the Lot River. Cahors is also
known for its delicious wine. of course there are several wine chateaus
that you can visit and taste the delicious Cahors wine.
All our guests
can use the swimming pool, the communal garden and the library.
have four camping pitches for a tent or caravan available. The four
spots, which are very spacious, have each an area of about 300 m2. There
is power (8A) and lightning. In the barn there is a wifi hotspot. In
every place is a wide view over the Valley of the Lot.
In the adjacent pasture,
our small flock of sheep with lambs grazes together with our little
Dexter cows. In the forest you can find our black pigs
and between the cattle, the chickens are dabbling there
sanitary facilities are located in the original stable from the 18th
century and has 2 toilets, 2 showers, a sink, a washing machine (can
be used for
a small fee).
After a wonderful night
sleeping on a comfortable bed and with a freshly brewed cup of coffee or
tea overlooking the beautiful Valley of the Lot. Or enjoy the setting
sun in the evening with a locally brewed beer or glass of local Cahors
wine. A clear
view, peace and space. That characterizes the three places where our de
Waard tents stand.
The Waard tents known for
passing through every weather type. Durable tents that we each put on a
skate of 13 x 6 meters with balustrade. Each tent
is furnished for 2 adults.
There is 1 large sleeping compartment with a double bed with a slatted
base and a boxspring mattress. The bed is made for you upon arrival.
For a carefree holiday feeling it is also possible to have a delicious
French breakfast delivered to the tent. Breakfast is brought into a
breakfast basket and contains delicious slices of fresh (organic) bread,
3 types of homemade confiture, a fresh egg and a bottle of delicious
fruit juice. Products from our own fruit trees and chickens.

Furthermore, the tent has a kitchen block with gas bowl.
This furniture is
mobile, making outdoor cooking a pleasure. There is a spacious kitchen
equipment, with pans, cutlery, plates, glasses, etc.
There is a dining table with chairs, a storage apron, a closet, lazy
chairs, a hammock and a table with sofas.
What makes camping in
one of our tents extra special is that each tent has its own ecological
toilet space. There are 2 systems. Or the toilet is rinsed with
irrigation water which is then purified by plants and is reused for
irrigating our plants, fruits and fruit trees.
Or there is a dry
toilet, also called compost toilet.
Each tent is equipped
with power, generated by solar panels. Luxury
camping while you’re shrinking your footprint.
Chambre Cyprès (2p)
In the centuries-old barn we
have decorated a guest room with comfortable beds. The bathroom has a
sink, shower and toilet. In the room there is an electric kettle to make
tea and coffee. Great for people who are travelling on or who want to
stay with us based on half board.
Every morning we bring the breakfast basket with fresh bread, various
homemade jams, fruit juice and a freshly cooked egg (if the chickens do
their best). The terrace is located on the west side, so you can enjoy
the sunset every night.
Gîte Amande (2p)
A studio situated in our farm.
The house is about 30m2 in
size, has an entrance into the sleeping/living room. It has a
kitchenette equipped with microwave, 2-burner hob, fridge and dining
area. There is a separate bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
The gîte features outdoor furniture and a small private garden of 40m2 in
a romantic corner behind an old bread oven from 1811.
This gîte is housed in part of
our own detached farmhouse. The property has an
area of about 75 m2.
Layout: Entrance into the living room with open kitchen, microwave,
2-burner hob, fridge and dining area. And a bathroom with shower, sink
and toilet. On the first floor is one large double bedroom with a
staircase to an attic room. The attic is also equipped with
bed with comfortable mattress.

You can oversee the communal
garden with various seating areas and the swimming pool. An Internet
connection is provided.
Gîte Cèdre (2-6p)
A farm from 1700 in

You can use the large communal
garden with swimming pool.
Five days a week you can enjoy a daily menu at our Auberge. A meal with
passion prepared from fresh vegetables and meat coming from our own farm.
Our Auberge we have housed in a part of the atmospheric, from the year
1500, farm. Weather permitting, the meal will be served
in the garden, in the shade of
a chestnut tree.
